Sexual Violence

There is so much news all about town now on rape cases here and there. We know rape has been for a very long time now and it is really getting rampant or rather, we are getting to hear about it more because of the advent of mobile phones and social media. 

It is really sickening to the stomach when I hear of an adult having carnal knowledge of toddlers/minors. You open blogs and sites and you hear of rape cases here and there...even fathers are not left out as they have also turned their daughters to sex slaves! I know rape is not new to the ears but abeg e don dey too much o. I know of someone who is in her 30s now who was a victim of rape, molestation while she was a child, when she told me her experience I could only pray for God to heal her heart and forgive those who had done such to her. You may never know who or where it will come from, we all just pray that our children will not be victims as they grow older.

We can attribute rape cases to the following: 

1. Indecent dressing of females

2. Bad drinking habit on the path of guys which makes them lose their minds and make every female "sexy"   to behold

3. Watching pornographic movies...read another sad story here

4. Anger and pain here

5. UNGODLINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!

All we can do is to pray we don't fall into the hands of the evil ones. In all, I'd say commit your ways to God and act right and he will crown our efforts with joy.
